The Big Soup Kitchen Challenge took place on the 5th December in the Town Market Square and 15 locals restaurants took part.  Also competing for the coveted Winners Plate was the BBC's Jenny Kendall-Tobias with her Bean Jar Soup!  Sir Fabian and Lady Malbon attended to declare the event open at 11am and then it was open for business! The event raised a little under £2,000 for both Bridge 2 Sri Lanka and the GSPCA.
