I am Sanjaya Ambagahduwa, 29 years old of Hikkaduwa. I have been working in Coral Sands Hotel for almost 07 years as the Front Office Executive.

I have known Mrs.Sarah Griffth for last five years. She came here just after Tsunami disaster and stayed with us almost 30 times up to now. During that period she has been conducting various charity programmes in Hikkaduwa. Specially she helped a lot for Tsunami victims, building houses, providing foods, helping school children, providing medical facilities and many other things. It is a great task.

She has a good knowledge to recognize the right people to help. I like very much the way she helps the people. I help her, translating and interpreting. I always enjoy doing it. In April she accompanied Rasika, who lost both of his legs by a train accident to UK, to be fitted new limbs. She asked me to help her as an interpreter and a companion for Rasika. I accepted that though I was busy with the job, because I wanted to contribute that valuable task. Unfortunately I couldn’t get visa, but anyhow she completed that task successfully. She has helped our staff too. One time she gave medical facilities for a boy who broke his arm. And recently she helped for medical treatment to Anura who was suffering from serious back problem. These are only few occasions.

I wish she continues helping Sri Lankan and I am always ready to help her work.
